Beating the Black Dog in memory of my brother Jem xx
Story
After my brother Jeremy, tragically took his own life early this year I have been searching... searching for answers, for ways to help, for something to fill the empty hole in my chest... I am not sure if I will ever fill the hole but after struggling with the search and endless questions I have found a place to start.
I have decided to try to make a difference by creating my very own fundraising appeal for charity. I will be participating in Stadium Stomp 2017 this winter and will be climbing thousands of stairs within the MCG. I will be raising money for the Black Dog institute. I would love it if you supported my efforts by making a secure donation. I would also really appreciate it if you could share my page above or comment below so more people know about it.
We need to talk about and shine a light on mental illness to help eradicate the negative stigma and assist those struggling to get help.

The Black Dog Institute is a not-for-profit organisation and world leader in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mental illness such as depression, bipolar disorder and suicide.
We are the only mental health facility in Australia that combines clinical services, high quality translational research and education programs. We work to empower communities and help the stigma surrounding mental illness.
